The Palace of Versailles was originally built as a hunting lodge by Louis XIII in 1623, and was later expanded into a palace by his son Louis XIV in 1661. This palace became the main palace of the King of France and a symbol of the absolute monarchy in France. The palace consists of the main building and gardens. Visit the spiritual symbol of Barcelona - Sagrada Familia. Sagrada Familia is Gaudí's masterpiece. Gaudí expressed his deep reverence for God and nature in the design of the church. Then we will go to Casa Milà, which is a building in Barcelona, Spain, also known as "La Pedrera". This building was designed by the Barcelona modernist architect Antoni Gaudí and is one of his last large buildings in Barcelona. Visit the ancient city of Toledo, a city of three religions. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the city with the highest density of ancient monuments in the world. Toledo has a rich history. It was the capital of the ancient Visigothic Kingdom and later became the capital of Spain. The city was a center of culture, religion and learning in the Middle Ages. Toledo also played a bridge role between Muslim, Jewish and Christian cultures.
The Puente de San Martín is a historic bridge in Toledo, located in the western part of the city, crossing the Tagus River. It was originally built in the 12th century, but due to damage it was rebuilt in the 13th and 14th centuries. During the reign of Charles II, in the 17th century, the bridge underwent major renovations, and has remained largely unchanged since then.
Alcazar: This old Moorish fortress, located high above the city, has been rebuilt several times and now houses a military museum with fascinating exhibits on the Civil War.
The Puerta de Bisagra is one of the most famous gates in Toledo, representing the city's entry into a new era. This magnificent gate was built by order of Charles V, demonstrating the importance of Toledo as the capital of the empire. The gate consists of two towers and an arched passage, decorated with the royal coat of arms of Charles V, highlighting its majestic military and political status.
Toledo Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, is a masterpiece of 13th-century Spanish High Gothic architecture. It is notable for its monumental scale, intricate Mudéjar elements, and the integration of light in its design. The cathedral is the seat of the Metropolitanate of Toledo and a symbol of the city's rich historical background, blending elements of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.
